Oxi No Rinse Sanitizer 100g Perfect for sanitising all brewing equipment, Oxi is safe to use on all surfaces. No need to rinse off with tap water, the oxygen based environmentally friendly Oxi Sanitiser stays on your brewing equipment leaving a layer of protection and dries on your equipment leaving no smell or taint.
Directions: In a large bucket, fermenting bin or sink, add 3 heaped tsp (20g) of sanitiser per 5 L (1 gallon) of warm water. Stir well with a plastic spoon/paddle. Immerse all equipment in sanitising solution or ensure the solution has contact with all the surfaces of the equiment and leave for 10 minutes before using. After 10 minutes, simply shake off excess moisture. For badly stained equipment soak overnight in a solution of Oxi. After use, pour away the solution, there is no need to rinse away. The steriliser should be used within 1 hour of making up to remain effective.
This no rinse sanitiser is an oxidising agent which upon dissolving in water yields hydrogen peroxide and sodium carbonate (also known as Soda Ash). This non-chlorine bleaching agent is effective at sanitising surfaces and equipment. The hydrogen peroxide yielded when dissolved in water decomposes over a short time frame (1 hour) into harmless residual products of oxygen and water, hence no additional rinsing is required and is safe for the environment.
Packaged in a foil stand up pouch which is resealable and can be stored upright or flat.
